           Letter to the Community

 

 

 

 

 

TO: CAMEO COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION MEMBERS

RE: HOMEOWNER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
 

The Board of Directors for the Cameo Community Association is asking for your help in cutting costs and making our community a safer and nicer place to live. To accomplish this it requires everyone’s help and your participation could save Cameo money.

What the Board of Directors has in mind is a very simple approach similar to a Neighborhood Watch Program. The Board of Directors would like to ask that while you are out in our community - walking, riding your bike, taking the dogs for a stroll or driving to or from your homes that you are aware of the following items:

  • IRRIGATION – Water from parks or community landscape that show either excess water use, water running down the streets or any concern regarding water should be reported immediately to Villageway Management Customer Service at 949-450-1515 (ask for Marie – Cameo’s designated Representative)

  • TRASH – When using the Parks and Beaches please take all refuse with you and or place in the receptacles designated for this. In addition, if you see large amounts of trash or that the receptacles are full call Villageway Management Customer Service at 949-450-1515 please give details (location-issue)

  • WASHROOM – Cameo maintains one washroom at Beach 3 that is available for the use of our homeowners and their guests. If this facility is in need of service please contact Villageway Management Customer Service at 949-450-1515 and explain issue.

  • ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS – If you have questions, comments or concerns regarding Architectural projects or the installation of Landscape/Hardscape please call Villageway Management at 949-450-1515 and ask for Gavin Kuehn or Chelsea Lo.

  • VANDALISM (IN THE ACT / IMMEDIATE RESPONSE) – This year there has been a lot of vandalism to the beach gates both for Cameo and the Pelican Hill Golf Club gate. The Board of Directors has contacted the City of Newport Beach Police Department who is stepping up patrols but we still need your help when you see “Suspicious Activity” taking place. For immediate response call the Newport Beach Police Department at 949.644.3717

  • VANDALISM (AFTER THE FACT) – If you come upon an act of vandalism that has been committed and there are no immediate actions to be taken please notify Gavin Kuehn at Villageway Management at 949-450-1515 x244. Gavin will call the NBPD Detective Division and file a report of damages.

  • PELICAN HILL GOLF RESORT - GATE ISSUES– Call P.H.G. Resort Security at 949-467-6800

  • IMMEDIATE THREATS – DIAL 911
