This 4th of July, treat yourself to a good old fashion "Main Street USA" Independence Day Neighborhood Party. Bring your Friends, your Neighbors and your Family to a day of fun and festivities. Make plans for the whole day, or just drop by when you can. Either way, you will enjoy the many events at Cameo on the 4th!

The day starts off at 10:30am at Rockford Place cul-de-sac as a staging area for our annual parade led by the Corona del Mar Fire Department. Decorate those bikes, scooters, wagons and skateboards. Blue Ribbon awards will be given for the top decorators in each class. Don't forget the pets!! Will we see Uncle Sam again this year???

The parade ends at Roxbury Park in Cameo Shores at 11:30am where all will enjoy a Main Street USA BBQ - Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and fixens for all. Grab an apron and start flipping burgers! And for those with a knack in the kitchen: Bring your absolute best home-made pie or dessert and enter it into our Baking or Pie Contest.    We'll need volunteer judges :-) Best Pie and Best dessert get a Blue Ribbon!   This is a BYOB (bring your own beverage) event.

No party is complete without Music, Arts and Crafts and plenty of competitive games. Tug-o-war, three legged race and potato sack race just to name a few. Pick your partner and start winning some Blue Ribbons! All while jamming to our own John Murphy and the TuneAMelt's. Any chance of guest jam sessions from some of our own residents? Now that's a neighborhood party!!
 

And just because we cannot ignore our beautiful beach, at 2:00pm the party moves to Beach 3 for more food and snacks and Cameo's 2nd Adult Bocce Ball Tournament where Richard Brown and Greg Hawkins will try to defend their Championship Title they earned at Easter. PIck a team and sign up at 2:00pm at the Beach for a 2:30pm tournament start time. First 16 teams get a spot in the tournament, so show up early to get your spot!

We're still looking for volunteers to help with a little setup and tear down. Give us 30 minutes and we'll give you back a full day of fun. Please send us an email to offer your help.
